Leaving India in 1989 when it was in vogue to hunt for opportunities overseas; my first sojourn for two years was in Malawi, the ‘Warm heat of Africa’. Taste Africa once and you want more is the saying. A ‘U’ turn to India was never on my mind, I lived for 6 years in Botswana as well until 1997, 10 years in New Zealand and I think I have now settled down in my final and fifth country – Australia. Australia has been home for over eight years now.
The journey so far has been one hell of a ride and the experiences fantastic! My blogs will be an attempt to share the stories of my meandering journey and experiences with whoever chooses to read, enjoy, critique, learn, teach, engage, challenge and draw benefit from.
As a serial immigrant, I have made several mistakes throughout my journey, have learnt but at times not changed my ways. This confirms I am but human. Sharing I believe will achieve my personal objective of being self-actualised and secondly I know for certain it will be a rewarding experience.
The only agenda I have is having no agenda. So here’s to new experiences!!
